Refund policy
We have a 4-day return policy (from the moment your order was received), which means you have 4 days to request a return.
Return applies only if the product you received is not the one that you initially ordered.
Otherwise in all other cases returns are accepted because this will have a negative effect on the safety of the products as it is food and it will go under non-advisable conditions due to transport, such as non controllable temperature, storage and handling.
Cancel or change the status of your order must be informed before we ship your order.
If your order was delivered to a service point of your choice and you failed to retrieve it on time we cannot provide a refund or initiate any return procedures.
We can though re-ship the order to you at a cost.
If your order was damaged during transport, Hellenic Imports bares no responsibility for that as we use professional third party contractors who bare the responsibility and any related issues should you direct to them.
If you received a defective product which Hellenic Imports was responsible then you will be fully reimbursed.
To be eligible for a return, your item must be in the same condition that you received it, unworn or unused, with tags, and in its original packaging. You’ll also need the receipt or proof of purchase.
To start a return, you may write to us by filling the contact form. If your return is accepted, then you you must return your order to us to the address that you be given within 48h. Items sent back to us without first requesting a return will not be accepted.
Items that are returned to us must be received by a an employee of Hellenic Imports baring proof of delivery (Signature by the carrier).
Ordering products out of stock is also non - refundable.
Pre - Ordering of products are binding and cannot be canceled.
You can always write to us for any return question you may have.
Damages and issues
Please inspect your order upon reception and contact us immediately if the item is defective, damaged or if you receive the wrong item, so that we can evaluate the issue and make it right.
Exceptions / non-returnable items
Certain types of items cannot be returned, like perishable goods (such as food), custom products (such as special orders or personalized items), and personal care goods (such as beauty products). Please get in touch if you have questions or concerns about your specific item.
Unfortunately, we cannot accept returns on sale items or gift cards.
We do not refund or accept returns in cases that the costumer requested delivery at a courier service point and failed to pick up the order the same day or changed his mind after his order was shipped, because a delay over 24h can result damage to the products. By products we specify items such as food which are perishable, failing to pick up in time due to the condition of the establishment can cause overheating a sensitive product f.e cheese and lead to a possible loss of a product. (safe to eat)
Exchanges
The fastest way to ensure you get what you want is to return the item you have, and once the return is accepted, make a separate purchase for the new item.
Refunds
We will notify you once we’ve received and inspected your return, and let you know if the refund was approved or not. If approved, you’ll be automatically refunded on your original payment method. Please remember it can take some time for your bank or credit card company to process and post the refund too.
